SUMMER SOLSTICE AT STONEHENGE

On 21st June, sun will rise at 4.50 am and other thousands of people will gather together to celebrate the shortest night of the year.

We all know how fascinating and inspiring Stonehenge is: this prehistoric site still surrounded by mystery is one of the most visited places in Europe.

There’s one day of the year when then site bursts with life and that’s the summer solstice.

For the shortest night of the year people from all around Europe come to witness the earliest dawn rising through the monoliths.

This year the Stonehenge Campsite organizes its 6th Summer Solstice Festival where you can camp with workshops and trade stands.
